Easy 5-Minute School Hairstyles For Kids

Double Twist Rope Braid Ponytail

Rope braids are popular right now, and for good reason. They look like a French braid but are MUCH quicker to do, making them one of my favorite 5-minute school hairstyles for kids!

To add some flair, tie a strand of hair around the final ponytail for older kids or use a bow for smaller kids.

Ribbon Fishtail Braid

I have to confess that fishtail braids used to truly intrigue me - so much so that I made a whole essay about them to help me master all the fundamentals.

As it turns out, this style is very simple to achieve, and this ribbon fishtail braid can be completed in less than 5 minutes. I'm not kidding!

Four Strand Waterfall Braid

I like how simple this outfit is. It provides a fashionable touch while keeping your child's hair out of her eyes, and it looks particularly lovely on wavy or curly hair. Give it a go!

Twist Crown Braid

If you like the half-up, half-down style, try this twisted crown braid. It's a little simpler to do than a regular French braid, and it's ideal for picture day and school concerts!

Princess Anna´s Hairstyle from Frozen 2

If your child is a Frozen fan with long hair, this is a great hairstyle to attempt, and all you need is a few of bobby pins to keep the braids in place!
